Go Native!

Due to customer demand, many nurseries still sell terribly invasive non-native plants like periwinkle and English ivy.

Everyone can help in the fight against non-native invasive plants.

  • Think twice about what plants you use in your landscape.
  • Ask your garden supply center to stop carrying some of the worst (even if beautiful) offenders in your area, and offer alternatives.
  • Ask your business or city to landscape with native plants.
